Medium: Acrylic Paint Date: Summer 2005 About: I used to have a guitar that didn't work very well. One day I took that guitar outside and smashed it on the cement. Of the remains, I kept the back and decided to paint on it. I was inspired by Brand New's song "Play Crack the Sky". The song compares drowning in a shipwreck to love. It is one of the most beautifully written acoustic songs I've ever heard.
